ALAB NG SINING, ALAY SIGLA!

ALAB NG SINING, ALAY SIGLA!

ARTISTS create for a purpose.

Like marriage, the building of an artwork is not always a bliss. But with art, it is integrity and not infidelity that pierces the soul and opens the eyes to unexpected realities.

Simple or subtle, every artwork is primarily an expression of the artist. His failure and triumph, certainty and doubt , peace and disturbance, beauty and brutality, or imagination and reality.

There is much that goes in the process of making art- skill, grit and courage, hope and truth.

THUS, the birthing of an artwork is a cathartic experience.

IT IS IN MY ART AND THROUGH MY ART, THAT MY VOICE IS LOUDEST!

I am both humbled and honored each time that that my paintings and poems are featured.

Ang sining ay nananahan sa diwa ng isang tagapaglalang at ang alab ng sining ay hindi nasusupil. So that despite the odds, despite the makabagong hamon at panunuligsa ng pandemya -an artists will not be silenced, and will not be dimmed! Artists must create, artists must perform, and artists must deliver.

I have much respect and gratitude to each and everyone who is supporting art and the artists, listening, witnessing, and feeling our message.

Cabalen, continue to open yourself to art. LET ART IN YOUR LIFE and YOUR LIFE BE YOUR ART. Allow your life to become an inspiration, an expression of love—for the Divine Artist, for oneself and for others.

LET YOUR ART BE YOUR LIFE and surprise yourself with the possibilities that are enriching and exciting. Tonight, go and write your loved one a poem—not only will you make art but you will surely make someone feel valued and happy.

“Ars Longa, Vita Brevis,” is a familiar Latin translation of the Greek aphorism, Life is short, Art eternal. While artists die and are forgotten, art endures, art stays.

KAPIT KAMAY po tayong magbigay sigla sa Sining. Ang tagumpay ng sining ay tagumpay nating lahat.
